Nice environment, drinks come in cans (no fountain) or bottles, not really crowded. The workers were friendly and helpful, especially for first timers. Good news is no MSG, and the brown and/or white rice is available for your bowls. I had a large with 3 proteins and some avacado. Very filling, great for new year resolutions if you're trying to move away from burgers and pizza. Follow up: 1/25/19 Totally not happy with my poke bowl. Asian guy gave very little on my proteins and the brown rice was not fully cooked. I had (2) ahi tuna and 1 salmon. When I ate my food at home, there was only 7 small pcs of tuna. Consistency in final product is important. Why waste time or money if you cannot expect good food every time. 1 good visit vs 1 bad. Will follow up 1 more time.

Food was good like always, but there was a lady and a man at the counter today and I get it was a slow day, but I felt some of the things she would talk about to the other employee was a little inappropriate for customers to hear. She just kept bringing up a time he no called no show and said he wouldn't have a job again if he did it and the poor guy was just standing there saying he understood. It was all just very odd. Still love the food and will definitely come back, but maybe teaching that employee that there are things that you don't talk about within earshot of a customer would be beneficial. Quality eats and super kind staff. The young man with the dreads was helpful and charismatic, top class service industry. Their selection of toppings and sauces mean a Poke bowl for everybody, if I lived in cstat I'd definitely be back!

Pretty alright poke place for college station. Is it anything like the poke you expect in Hawaii? No! But it is pretty alright when one is craving rice and fishy things without wanting sushi. One little issue is that I have been there twice in the evening and each time they were out of greens and the fish really does not have enough contact with any sauce to have any appreciable effect, but the overall eatability is pretty high especially with the toppings of tobiko, crispy garlic and shallots that add a nice crunch to the fish and Rice combo.

Good poke. Build your own bowl - choose a size, a base (rice or green), fish (tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp) and a good variety of toppings. Also choose a sauce. The concept is very chill. The food is served in takeout containers, but they have tables if you prefer to dine in.
